This is a blog containing my personal taste in music and art. That means you will see lots of Youtube videos with music I fancy, and also art videos and portraits from the Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo era.

Marie-Antoinette: C'est mon ami
Romance pour soprano & harpe
(One day too late. I should've posted this yesterday)
Well it is a lovely little aria. Do the words pertain to Marie Antoinette, or did you just mention her because it is from the film? I also like the painting of Marie Antoinette. The wolves are a very lovely touch.
Beautiful- sad though, when you know how things ended.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, it would have been better yesterday, her birthday, but in any case wonderful. This is not Kisten Dunst singing it is it?

ReplyDeleteB. Lee Wainscott,
ReplyDeleteIt's Isabelle Poulenard who's singing. I think Kirsten just sang it in the movie.
Kind regards,
Ninon

ReplyDeleteB. Lee Wainscott,
ReplyDeleteI mention her because she composed this romance. I like the illustration too! It's made by Johanna Öst (www.johannaost.com).
Kind regards,
Ninon
I loved it, can you suggest how to find he music?
