  2. Hi Lucy! :)

I love Vivaldi too (as you might see.. heh), and I'm really looking forward to read your post about him! Have you heard that they are going to make a film about him? I think it's set during his time in Venice, when he was giving music lessons to young nuns in a monastery.

  4. Just one small detail: he's not in a monastery he is at a school for the illegitimate daughters of Venice's courtesans! Big difference! :D Sorry, I don't know how my memory worked on that... :D

  6. I have to say that I may just be a Vivaldi groupie! I thought the painting of the ships on, what looks like, stormy waters was appropriate for the bursts of energy in the music. Really excited to read your comments about the movie in the making. Keep us posted!

  7. Dear Catherine,

Yes, the painting fits really well to the music. And such music!!
Haha, I will try, I just read about the movie a couple of months ago. I hope it will be good, although I'm a bit concerned, I don't think that the actor who will be playing Vivaldi is really appropriate for the role, but we'll see!
